When a nun in Romania takes her own life, the Vatican sends a priest, a novitiate and a seminarian to investigate the land of the abbey. Searching if the land is still holy or not. What they find at the abbey will forever haunt them for the rest of their lives.

A few dark sabbatical years between university studies mark the past of Timothy, who has a few more memories, of a few more things, than he knows what to do with. With the start of a new academic year, he finds old acquaintances and new friends. Clover is a witch, with her magical powers equaling those of an oven glove. And she suspects one of their friends to be possessed by a demon. Lavender however is blissfully oblivious of her friend's suspicions and thinks she is losing her mind with vivid nightmares and huge gaps in her memory. Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. The Misvan Gatu is an underground government controlled by an unknown force. It is their mission to find a cure for the death of a soul, not caring who they may destroy in the process. Misguided and twisted by an evil unknown they are driven by the need to know more about the afterlife. Breaking down barriers and finding answers to questions best left unasked. If the soul could be transferred then that human life could continue, couldn't it? And if there was a way of stopping death and harnessing the power of the human soul what else could we accomplish?
