The peculiars finally get to meet Jacob's best friend Ricky Pickering. He makes some quite interesting encounters with them. (That old synopsis I wrote was cringe)

Note: This idea was roaming around my head for a while so I decided to finally write down and get it over with. I wrote this partially out of fun and partially because Ransom Riggs did a huge disservice to his characters. This story took quite some time to make, so comments and feedback are welcome.


Based on the book, of course. I haven't watched the movie but do plan on it. (UPDATE: I have watched the movie...cool)

I wrote this when I was drunk. The extent to which I was inebriated shall henceforth not be discussed. As an essential disclaimer, I do not own any of the characters, brands, places, or things discussed in this story. Of course, hopefully you already knew that one cannot own a human for a human is already owned by themselves. Although, if Marthe Woertman, Harry Styles, or Shrek do not own themselves I am entirely willing to campaign for their freedom. I am also deeply sorry to the above should they ever come across this literary masterpiece. Which would be tragic. A complete and utter disaster. Anyways this is a story about love of the not at all heterosexual variety. While there are disturbing mentions of previous heterosexuality it is not discussed at length or in detail. Also if you came to this story seeking Harry Styles or Shrek, while they are both key characters, it is mostly about Marthe Woertman and an entirely fictional girl who is simply pining for a hot, tall, dutch, Leo. I also wouldn't read this if you have any standards at all. I warn you, it is Hallmark Christmas Movie/Wattpad Fanfic crossover and simply should not exist. It is not rated mature because it does not have...y'know...the canoodling? the hickory dickory dock? the secret touchy thing? in it because it does not. I rated it that way because I did not, and I shall repeat, I did not proof read this at all. Also I don't really know anything about Marthe Woertman. Or Amsterdam. This will be wildly inaccurate in every respect. Jason and Mia's grandfathers are best friends. When Mia's grandpa suffers from a mild heart attack, he realizes that there isn't much time left. But he has a wish, to see his grand daughter walk down the aisle. The problem is; he thinks Dayne isn't that man. He arranges with his best friend to match-make their grand children on the pretext of merging their companies. Jason and Mia refuse to compromise. So they strike a deal with them. "You both will live together for 30 days, if you don't fall in love with each other within those 30 days. You both can go your separate ways and marry whoever you want to marry". Found in between the devil and the blue sea, they both agree. Mia feels she is in love with someone already, so loving Jason will be totally impossible. But life isn't how it seems like always. They are yet to discover love isn't a matter of choice but a matter of the heart. Disclaimer- I know that this book has lots of plot holes, and all that. Trust me when I say I'm definitely working on it. I haven't fully gotten around editing it 'cause how busy life is at the moment. Note that, this book is my first book ever as a writer and as such has stuff that needs to be worked on. If you want to read a really thought out work, you can read my other books. She believed in their grandfather's stories with all her heart, for a long time at least. Then, like all children, Ren grew too old to believe in her grandfather Abe's stories. Or at least she had to pretend to. She pretended so well, she even forgot her own strangeness. When she travels to Wales with her cousin and uncle, Ren remembers just how strange she is. Just how peculiar. When she meets a certain dead riser, she's not sure exactly how to feel about him and Enoch certainly acts like he wants nothing to do with her. Still, the two must learn to work together in order to keep the little family together and save Miss Peregrine. Will a friendship form? Or maybe something more? Mostly based on the movie and not the book because it's been too long since I've read the book. The characters still belong to Ransom Riggs and not me. I do own Ren and my cover so please don't steal them. There will be some angst, fluff, romance, a few swears. But, as with all my fics, nothing to warrant a mature rating.
