It's always been Carter and Eli they've been best friends since they were little, but things start to change and terrible things are revealed to them and about them. Carter's parents are long dead and he lives with his abusive older brother Bram, Eli's dad died and his mom remarried someone less than great.

But everything changes when the world decides to hit them with every terrible thing at once, it's a spiral down to the pits of hell.
