Night City. A city of vice, debauchery, and all things criminal. Few can survive in this hellscape, and those who do... Well, they're not really the friendly kind. But not all of them are bad. One such young man, is named (Y/n) (L/n). A young man who has a simple goal, help his friends survive and live a better life than him. Namely, the young boy who looked up to him, a boy named David Martinez. A poor boy living with his mother in the ghetto's of Night City, struggling to make his way through life while dealing with other problems. One day, things changed forever for David, when a freak accident broke his life, the boy went off to do his own thing, and joined his older brother in his line of work... David and (Y/n)'s lives were about to be turned upside down, trying to make their lives better for themselves, their friends, and the few people they care for, all in their line of work as mercenaries, or, more accurately... As edgerunners.
