"Tommy must have noticed the flicker of pain that etched across Wilbur's face, as his smile softened into pity. His wings slightly stretched as he took a deep breath, sliding to the floor. "We'll be alright, okay?" He muttered. His words were quiet and soft, a contrast to his loud entrance.

Wilbur failed to believe it. If he couldn't make it out of the prison safely, Tommy certainly couldn't escape either. But who was he to crush Tommy's dreams? The blonde was the only type of hope he's gotten ever since he was thrown in this cell. All he could do was look out for him until the day they separated."

Wilbur and Tommy are two avians who get locked up in a prison by hunters and they get along well despite their contrasting personalities,,, they also bond with two other sillies

"So, you've been here all day," The blonde said to announce his presence but the other didn't seem to notice or bother signaling he did. Tommy took a careful step forward but stopped a few feet away from the seated male. "Everyone's been worried," "They shouldn't be," Dream said softly. Tommy frowned. He took notice the other's mask was resting on the ground to his left and felt his confusion rise. "Why not?" He decided to humor the other. Dream sighed heavily and looked up to the sky causing his hood to pool around his shoulders. "Am I a bad person, Tommy?" The teen's heart stopped, Dream went on. "Did I really do all those bad things?" His head lowered once more and his shoulders shook slightly. "How bad did I hurt you?" He whispered. Cross-posted from AO3 under the same username. He grins and Tommy can't help but smile back at the God of Music "He couldn't wait to see us, obviously" teases the Blood God and Tommy scoffs "As if- I actually live here nimrods, technically you're visiting me" he retorts and they chuckle "Then maybe we should have knocked?" That's a third voice and Tommy shivers in delight, watching a third man descend from seemingly nowhere, ebony wings gracing his fall as he lands lightly, emerald robes swilling around his feet as he smiles warmly. A warble rises to his lips in greeting "Good evening, Tommy" Or: Mortal Tommy and three powerful Gods- what could possibly go wrong?
