"Tommy must have noticed the flicker of pain that etched across Wilbur's face, as his smile softened into pity. His wings slightly stretched as he took a deep breath, sliding to the floor. "We'll be alright, okay?" He muttered. His words were quiet and soft, a contrast to his loud entrance.

Wilbur failed to believe it. If he couldn't make it out of the prison safely, Tommy certainly couldn't escape either. But who was he to crush Tommy's dreams? The blonde was the only type of hope he's gotten ever since he was thrown in this cell. All he could do was look out for him until the day they separated."

Wilbur and Tommy are two avians who get locked up in a prison by hunters and they get along well despite their contrasting personalities,,, they also bond with two other sillies

Technically he should be screaming- any other mortal would when met with a huge being with boar features, royally dressed and adorned with enough weapons to dice a human into a grain of rice. He grins and Tommy can't help but smile back at the God of Music "He couldn't wait to see us, obviously" teases the Blood God and Tommy scoffs "As if- I actually live here nimrods, technically you're visiting me" he retorts and they chuckle "Then maybe we should have knocked?" That's a third voice and Tommy shivers in delight, watching a third man descend from seemingly nowhere, ebony wings gracing his fall as he lands lightly, emerald robes swilling around his feet as he smiles warmly. The colors danced over their heads, spreading in patters like that of the sand of the sea floor over the landscape. An aurora borealis had appeared. A teenage boy is running from the law. A large bounty is over his head, and five Hunters are constantly chasing him, determined to get the money. It all changes when Dream gets wings. Now everything that he knew about life is upside down and twisted. As he is a magpie, his "bird-brain" takes over when he sees anything shiny, and he immediately wants it. It also pops up during great emotion, scattering his usual calm and cold reactions. His wings are tiny, not yet full grown, like they should have been because most avians are born with their wings. He doesn't know who he is, or what to call himself, and he no longer feels safe with the sudden new dangers around him, especially with his fresh wings to take care of. And now he is forced to play in a harsh competition of something like Minecraft where he has enemies from day one. At least he has Techno, his partner, who is only three years older than him, but he can't help but feel like the pink-winged avian could be a father. At least, until he realizes why that person wanted to protect him. And then he feels betrayed.
