During WWII, HYDRA, an elite scientific group working for the Nazi Party began work on Project: Masterman, an attempt to harness the powers of mutants for use in the war. The project was stopped, and its head scientist, Dr. Axel Nacht, disappeared. The Project was shut down, and every trace of it was destroyed.
Or so it seemed.

We were just kids. Not experiments. Hundreds of kids were kidnapped at a young age and taken to a place called the Compound. Here they are put through ruthless tests in order to get one thing; mutants. When that breakthrough is finally achieved on A-36971 and a group of unknown people show up the next day, she takes the chance at asking for help using her new 'powers.' But getting this help came at a great cost. Once they're out and free, they realize the head scientist isn't letting them get away that easily. And he doesn't want his lifelong work to be out in the world just yet.
