In the Kingdom of Lysandria, Aerys Mystwraith had a content life, daughter of a king and next in line for the throne. Until winter arrived. The once-lively trading economy downturned, disease spread and rumours of war began suddenly as tensions between kingdoms mounted. Without a tangible reason for all these misfortunes, people began to whisper of a curse, and displaced their fear by blaming the king for the weakness of the kingdom.
When her father is usurped and killed by Aerys's uncle, she escapes the night before her own execution, now with a price on her head. Rebuilding her identity, she flees into the neighbouring land, and with a heart full of hate, begins to plan her revenge with the help of those she meets on the way. She finds herself caught in a complex love triangle, undercover whilst falling for two princes: a hotheaded, fierce warrior and a cold ruler-to-be of an icy land.
But not everybody can be trusted, and in a world with a thirst for power, greed and betrayal run rampant. Can she reclaim her throne? Or will she meet a fate that was damned from the beginning?

The princess wants to control her life in the way she wants it. The prince desire the crown and the Iron Throne. The Heir struggles to perform her duties and carry all the responsibilities.
