In the fight with the Jade Emperor, Macaque died and he never forgotten since till a miracle happened years later.... !(AU): Brotherhood from season 4 & it's special, story happen as the original but instead of Wukong killing Macaque himself, Macaque died while the plan of taking the Jade Emperor and no, LBD didn't revive him, in this story she was still on the plan of "making the world better place" +Important Side note: Back in the china history, there were separated part of china with different rulers or Emperor so I think that LBD was with the Mortal Realm's Emperor to not confuse anyone ;) @Side note: My first language wasn't English so might have spelling errors or its own correcting words that may not make sense, also the cover is by me!

During a battle, Macaque gets injured, the group does not yet trust Macaque and is still skeptical so they leave the monkey king to watch over him, not only to make sure he is well healed but also so he doesn't run off or do anything destructive. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.

It will dive into the pasts of Macaque and Wukong. As well as the pasts of the Nine Headed Demon. Characters from both the book and the show will appear in this, as well as some from Chinese mythology. The story has a slow progression but one you don't want to miss! This is intended as a YA Fiction. --- There is a prologue for those who haven't watched the show, or read the book, in chapter 1! (I had some feedback that the prologue is a little confusing I apologize! feel free to skip it if you want!) --- I am also trying to follow Chinese mythology and also the original journey to the west book.
