"Like the folklore, the man who shifts to a beast during the night", every child has heard the stories of shape shifters. Elders would teach their children these stories to scare them from leaving the house at night when the predators hunt. As we grew older, we realized that it was nothing but mere stories.

I struggled, but that's when I realised, I'm too short to ram my head into his chin, my arms were held down and my legs completely useless. I. Was. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. I remember my mom telling me how mates are supposed to love and protect one another. I also remember her telling me that if my mate truly loved me, then he wouldn't care if I could half shift. There only a handful of us that can half shift and we are looked at, as true monsters that parents tell their kids before they go to bed. Austin loves me, he's seen my other form and he's seen me kill a man in a crazy state. But see that's the down fall of half shifting; if we aren't careful we could go crazy and kill anything and everything. This feeling when the darkness takes over, is hard to describe. I just know that whatever my half shifting mind is, it's sadistic and crazy. Not even my wolf mind can compare to this...farrell mind. Since my killing of my mother ex lover, I've been closely watched and have even had to be sedated for sleep, in precaution of sleep walking and killing. It's never happened, but I would rather be safe then sorry. August been against a lot of the precautions, because I've had to stay away from him and that's just not done.
