What does a soldier dream of more than a life of peace?
It has been five years since the fall of Calamity Ganon. As Hyrule slowly heals from the wounds of its past, Link and Zelda work tirelessly to rebuild the kingdom they had once known. Even with the old threat gone, the knight struggles to adjust to the peace, unsure what his life may be beyond his duty.
The peace is shattered though, when traces of an enemy long believed gone begin to arise. The princess and her hero investigate, they soon find themselves torn apart, and thrust into a new world of danger. Will they be able to preserve the victory their friends had given their lives for? And will Link be able to face his greatest fear of all?
The Lonely Hero is the sequel to The Lonely Knight, a novelization of BOTW. This book follows the same characters as that book, in this rewritten version of TOTK.

It has been a year since the princess and her knight were able to reunite and seal the horror that was Calamity Ganon. Now, her appreciation and feelings towards the knight grew stronger and through every moment, good and bad, she is determined to stay by his side and never loose him, even if that means loosing herself.
