[COMPLETE] For centuries, the sorcerer Milo tried to run away from his old coven and the creatures that were waiting for him there. The memories of pain kept him focused on his disguises, and when he finally thought he was safe, the possibility of war summoned him back to defend the clan he so avidly avoided.

The perspective of a battle wasn't as scary as his creator - Damien. The vampire condemned him to that eternity of fear, with no memory of his human life, and Milo never understood his motives. Why was Damien so possessive over him if he despised him that much?

But there was no option - other than to stop running and perhaps understand what started all that fighting.

Confused, I stood as I had to pop my back from the hard hit into the tree. Looking in the direction Achille ran off, I knew I couldn't see him because it'd be a blur. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...

Which was exactly what Jasper did. The second summoning was at least not an accident but went slightly wrong as well - it got him a helping pair of clawed hands (well, sometimes at least. I mean the clawed helpfulness) and something like an involuntary flatmate. Which was not what Jasper had expected but hey, you've got to take all the help you can get when you're trying to get rid of a curse whose sole purpose it is to kill you. Jasper should be glad he survived it til here. And if dealing with a wayward demon was the price to pay, he had nothing against it. Especially when said demon had the annoying tendency to make him laugh and blush all the time.
