If you were to tell Edogawa Ranpo that one day, he would be called for a case so twisted and horrid, even he wouldn't be able to solve it, he'd laugh straight to your face.
Unfortunately, faith wasn't as generous to him to make it just a mere speculation or a joke.

No... That morning when he has entered the crime scene, he wished upon everything to make it just a bad dream.

Inspired by Tell-tale heart by Edgar Allan Poe, but it isn't as significant, so don't expect too much direct references.

Also, HIGHLY 'adopted' (???) concept from @Strange_Butterfly895 oneshot 'FFI' - go check it out!! The title of the shot is explanatory enough to figure exactly what I took the idea from.

It's basically based on a dream I had after reading the original Tell-tale heart at midnight, so bear with me??
