"If I could tell him anything, what would I say? I would probably say a dozen apologies, a dozen I miss yous, and a dozen I love yous. I'd say everything I couldn't. I would ask him so many questions." - A short story about growing up. The life of five high school students trying to survive. Azura Alcantara, a charming girl with a life that seems perfect, yet hides secrets of her own. River Lee, a quiet guy with a traumatizing past. Lavena Gomez, a future journalist who dreams of making it big - even if she's not doing well mentally. Kael Chavez, a down to earth smart guy, always being silly - an advice giver who can't seem to take his own advice. And lastly, Ray Alonzo, a strong boy who struggles with problems at home, yet always keeps a smile on his face. Five high school students, each with their own unique background and struggles, come together as friends at a critical time in their lives. As they navigate through the highs and lows of growing up, they learn to rely on each other for support and guidance. Together they face the challenges of adolescence, from navigating complicated relationships to navigating the complexities of high school drama. Despite the challenges they face, these friends remain hopeful for a brighter future. This short story is a poignant and relatable story about the beauty of friendships that help us find the strength to overcome our struggles.

"Why do you always avoid my questions?" "I'm not, it's just that there's nothing to say. Who would ever want to date someone they can't even talk to? It's not rocket science. My eyes are weird, and people get tired of me eventually. There's your one-page essay. Now please don't snow me to death .-." "What? All that you just said is a lie. And I should snow you to death for even saying that! I would definitely date you." "...Thanks." πŸ’ο½‘ο½₯οΎŸβ™‘οΎŸο½₯ο½‘πŸ“ο½‘ο½₯οΎŸβ™‘οΎŸο½₯q Dallas Addison had it all; being a talented swimmer and dating the star of the football team, she didn't think she lacked anything in any capacity. Sure, she and her boyfriend had minuscule issues, but which logical relationship didn't have their occasional ups and downs? After landing in Extra Credit class due to a series of mishaps with her grades and attendance, Dallas's turmoil became despair when she became paired with one of the most eccentric people in the entire class. Seriously. Who wore sunglasses to school, much less indoors? When weeks turned into months of working together, series of back-and-forth message threads started to hit closer and closer to home. Suddenly, Dallas realized that maybe her life wasn't as idyllic as she was previously led to believe. || Completed 2023 βœ”οΈ || Β©ReeseTory2022
