A great darkness takes over the world. One hero stands up to face it. He dies. 127 years later cry-baby Kyle Stone decides to do something about the darkness. He decides to leave home and ask the darkness to leave. Along the way he ends up being called the leader of the Reble army and made public enemy #1. Not knowing what to do he follows what the others say and turns into a hero to save them all.

Guardians of the Light (Book 1: Rebirth)
Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. In order to stop The Darkness from controlling the world, a group of priests took the remaining pieces of light and placed them within the body of two chosen children.
