Yeah, welcome to the Academy of Students with Extraordinary Abilities. AEA-Xylkor. And leading their "student armada"? Delia - whose mom can barely pay next month's rent. So... saving the galaxy might just be her best shot at skipping rent. Skateboarder, Rapper,Mathematician, all spices in the 6-ingredient broth. They're mostly tenth graders. They're confused. And apparently, they're the universe's last hope. A hidden force is rising, and it starts with one of them - harboring a power that could either save everything... or destroy it. Idk tho... So yeah. Spectacular World
Hope Lauren has read her share of comics. She's seen supers around her city and even been saved by some on occasion. And she always hoped that she'd be able to join them. With Jack, her grizzled older mentor with secrets that could shake the world, and Pantheon, a new team of heroes, Hope will have to fight against monumental odds to save Oleander City. In a world of action, comedy, tragedy, and adventure, there's plenty for a new hero to do. *Readers can expect a mostly adventure-themed superhero journey that will include a slice of life, action, and hopefully exciting world-building. It will also contain a slow-burn GL/Yuri plotline, which I'll eventually get to when I feel like it, I guess. This will be a very long story with many arcs* New chapter every Monday and Friday.
The perfect timing (In Editing)
I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school. Like Matilda, he too struggles with his power, not in finding it, but rather in controlling it. Will he get it right when it matters? Oliver Hart is a charismatic veterinarian who discovers he can suddenly hear the animals thoughts. It would've been a powerful career booster if he hadn't been kidnapped and taken to the community. There, he uses his charisma to make a group of friends he'll never forget. Shortlisted for the Open Novella Contest 2019 • Being a Supervillain is tough. Between managing a secret lair and making sure your mom doesn't stop loving you because you keep telling everyone she's dead, it's a really hard business to be good at? Add to that, the fact that somehow you got arrested because your cat sitter didn't take the day off and then you go around expressing your unconditional love for pancakes in a Super holding cell because technically they can't put you in a proper prison and you don't really have a choice because lawyers are expensive? And then, you realise your best friend is plotting go take over your spot as the greatest villain there ever was? Okay, maybe not the greatest, but you do come pretty close to it! To top it off, there's that one Superhero who's just so completely gorgeous, you couldn't imagine any harm coming to them? Because they're just that precious? I guess that makes me a Supervillain with minor time travel superpowers and a huge crush on a not so powerful Superhero? And all you have to do is protect yourself and everyone you love from your ex best friend/sidekick --because let's face it that's the highest level of praise for a wretched traitor here--and you also have to get out of Super Holding somehow?
