Daniel Molloy is on the final stretch of his documentary: The Vampire Lestat. He shifts focus to the band that supports Lestat's legendary career as a rock star. But as Molloy prepares to wrap up, one member, the final member to be interviewed, catches his attention: Vina Quinn, the enigmatic lead guitarist and the only vampire among the band members. She recounts her journey as Lestat's mortal lover after he awakens from his slumber in New Orleans, building the band together, her experience when Lestat turns her, and her entanglement with Lestat's numerous affairs. π Following the events from the book and the show. πCharacter descriptions follow the tv series. π Events in this story take place: after Louis and Lestat's reunion in NOLA, before and after Daniel Molloy's book was released, and during The Vampire Lestat band tour. NOTE: English isn't my first language, please excuse some grammatical errors and typos. Thank you! NOTE: Tenses sometimes shift in the middle of the story to create the impression of moving between flashbacks and the present time of the interview. The POV also changes from Vina to Lestat during the narration, since Lestat is with her for most of her interview with Daniel. Alcina Cassandra Molloy clawed her way from only being known as the author Daniel Molloy's child to where they are now. She left New York and went to New Orleans for college desperate to break away from the reputation she had due to her last name. She hunted down a place to stay for a while, the only place anywhere near her college and affordable was the old de Pointe du Lac-de Lioncourt town home. When word of her father's latest attempt to publish a book, she digs her own claws in to find out who it was about. The subject? Louis de Pointe du Lac, one of the original owners of her rental. In a move, inspired through pettiness and drunkenness reached out to The Vampire Lestat offering to do an interview with him to start this show off. {{Currently on pause due to writers block, 12/23/25.
