Whilst the death of Terzo's mother left him a hollow, empty shell of the man he used to be.

Now reunited by duty, Rose returns to the ministry not just as his assistant- but volunteering as his pretend Prime Mover. As they return to his mother's abandoned villa in Sicily, where they once spent sun-drenched summers as children, the past unearths old memories, buried grief, and love that might not have died after all.

"Whoa, someone really fucked up," he muttered, still unable to open his eyes properly. He reached for his emergency shades that he kept near the door. "I hope it wasn't me."
