My alarm rings for school. 6:00 AM.
"Damn.." I mumble. I reach for the alarm with my eyes closed, but I end up accidentally knocking it off my nightstand. "Oh you've got to be kidding me." I groan as I reach on the ground next to my bed, and I manage to click the button and turn my alarm off. Once I do, I turn on my back, and I stare at my bedroom ceiling. My whole entire room was red bc of the LED lights. I finally get out of bed, and I walk to the kitchen, where my mother was making breakfast. "Good morning! Sleep well?" My mother ask me. My mother was always filled with happiness and energy. Me on the other hand, I was more depressed than my dad in his 1970 teenage years. We don't talk about him though. "Yeah, I slept fine." I say. "Whatchya making?" My mom looks down at the stove. "Bacon and pancakes" she says, smiling. I nod and I go back to my room to get ready for school. I got in the shower, blasting Billie Eilish on repeat. Billie was the only reason I was getting through life.
