Scarlett White only cares about two things: college and grades. Jace Oakes couldn't care less about either of those. What he really cares about is music, but his parents are skeptical he'll make a living out of it. When a risky bet comes along, Jace agrees to it. If he manages to get with Scarlett and even take her to prom, he wins the bet and makes his ex-girlfriend jealous. If he loses, he has to pay up.
