Ezera spotted movement out of the corner of his eye, squinted as he approached one of the taller apartment complexes 'is that...' coming to a halt near the front of the building he quickly rolls down his window "ASHER?" Asher fumbles his grip in surprise and slips, falling a couple feet down onto the harsh pavement. "Asher what the hell are you doing hanging from a window?" he said as he slammed on the brakes and stuck his head further out the window to confirm it was in fact Asher. All of this commotion was starting to attract a small crowd and a few of 'them' started to lumber in the direction of the car. "Get in the fucking car dumbass". Without a second thought Asher grabbed his stuff and sprinted towards the car. Once he had dove in through the lowered back window the car took off again. "Only if you would have ran that fast at the tournament" he said to lighten the very serious mood. "If" Asher replies. ---- Once fierce rivals, Asher and Ezera now face a world turned upside down. This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?

She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend. The latter half of that desire is just a sneak peak into her messy life-and it's only getting messier. Considering the paranormal world she is about to dive head first into, she will come to realize that figuring out her heart may just be the easiest part of this journey. Well, the endless supply of supernatural hotness in this story may beg to differ-but that's besides the point. Either way, it's gonna be a killer time ;) EXCERPT Chicken tacos it is. Right as Renata grabbed the ingredients, she turned to put them next to the stove, where a clean, plastic cutting board awaited. But as she moved, she was confronted by a stranger, an intruder, standing mere inches from her. Before she could scream, he was on her, slamming her against the fridge. Her back flashed with sharp pain. Her eyes pricked with fear as she drank in his uncovered face. Deeply tanned skin. Ruby red eyes-ruby red eyes? Thick, slashing eyebrows. Flat, broad nose. Buzzcut. Handsome. That was as far as she would go in complimenting him considering this guy held a knife to her throat. When he spoke, his voice came out like thunder. It held a thousand threats and a thousand secrets. It held promise of pain if provoked. "If you scream," he warned, mouth pulled in a slight snarl, "this ends quickly." She didn't dare nod against the blade. He noticed and amusement lit up for just a second in those devilish eyes. Oh, whoever the fuck this was, she already hated him. Considering her predicament, panic was the most prominent emotion coursing through her at the moment. "Good." He removed his hand "Now you're going to answer my questions." °°MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT OF ALL KINDS, AND I MEAN ALL KINDS°
