Internal Madness

Everyone's is mad in one way or another. Some linger along side their sanity, keeping it close while others loose all abandon and wreck havoc. 16 year old Maddie Kingsher has been sucked into this dark and twisted game, leaving no room for mercy. She unexpectedly comes home one day to find the one thing she loved the most; her little sister Julie, had been taken from her. After finding that there is more to this world then what meets the eye, Maddie is faced with a game, one that can either consume her soul or allow her another day to live. She learns of an alternate world, Regrath, that has been slowly decaying away. Each year one child is chosen as a "sacrifice" for this dying world, and this year Maddie happened to be picked. Along with being chosen she is thrown into a game, one with a deadline that must be met. In a race against the clock, she has five days to find her sister and kill off Regrath or let this dark world kill her.
The rules are simple to this game. Solve the mystery of Regrath and find your sister, In Maddie's case, or your soul will twist into a a hateful entity along with her sister's , allowing Regrath to thrive for another year. Find Julie, and Regrath will die, and never again will anyone have to endure this sick game. Can Maddie beat the game, or will she perish and fail the one promise she made to her sister?
