Sometimes Albany wonders what it will take for them to be perceived as human. They looked human, that was an undisputed truth, and yet, looking at them filled her being with rage.
Their hollow shrunken eyes, their bodies prodding with bones, those empty corpses who's souls had left awhile ago.
No they weren't human. They were masquerading as them.
But what could she do, Earth was dead and they all lived in it's carcass.

I looked out of the window. The huge window had bars on it. It was designed in a way only I could see outside world. That's what I could only do. I could never live there. Why? There were two huge arms wrapped around me like chains as I stared at the window blankly. "Mate, I can still feel your dislike towards me. Tell me, what should I do to gain your affection. I'll do everything you say or buy anything for you. I love you, mate. Name it" I stared at his wolf eyes filled with love which made my heart churn. I pressed my urge to puke and stared blankly at him. "Free me" "I told you. I'll never leave you. How dare you think about going away mate. I'll fuck you so hard that you won't be able to step out of the bed. Then you'll carry my pups. Let's see how you'll deny my love" He growled angrily. In a minute. I was lying under him naked... You thought your phone was broken when it read nine-forty-three in the morning while it was pitch black outside. One look at social media gave you all the information you needed to know what was happening. The sun was gone. Everywhere, in every state, city, country. Not only that, but people were making up all kinds of excuses for why it was missing. Yet, with each hour that passed, it kept worsening. People began looting in major cities, creating mobs to rush important buildings or block off busy roads. You, living in a semi-large city, could hear the sounds from afar; until those sounds turned to screaming, yelling, running. There were things out there. Things that wanted to hurt you. People that wanted to hurt you. Will daybreak ever come again? Or was this new, apocalyptic setting forever your new reality? ...And why did a masked, bloodied, man just break into your bathroom? The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. That's why they call me: Death -----------------------------------------************************************--------------------------------------------- Death. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. She lived in this hell hole, where they take her to rooms. Examine. Fight. She knows she won't be able to entertain them for long. She decides to run. Soul. Brown hair as mud, blue eyes as the sky. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least. I had barely made it a step when I say a man walking towards me. He too had a digital clock thing on top of his head too, except his had todays date, September 10th, and his timer read, 00:00:12. I didn’t know what to expect, but I wanted to see what happened when the clock clicked down, so I stood and watched him. 00:00:09, 00:00:08, 00:00:07, 00:00:06, 00:00:05, 00:00:04, 00:00:03, :00,00:02. I didn’t know what to assume for 00, but I watched patiently as he looked both ways and crossed the road, and then, just like clockwork, 00:00:00, and a car came speeding out of nowhere, and knocked the man down. He was dead. Somehow, between him dying and me freaking out, I had an epiphany; I saw when people were going to die. And then I officially had my first panic attack since my mom died. Boysenberry Moonchild Roxburgh is your average girl who happened to get hit by lightening, starts seeing when people are going to die, meets a soul reaper and his pissed off half brother, gets hired by death and is being constantly annoyed by a stalker black cat and her dead mother who she can now see. She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend. The latter half of that desire is just a sneak peak into her messy life-and it's only getting messier. Considering the paranormal world she is about to dive head first into, she will come to realize that figuring out her heart may just be the easiest part of this journey.
