Despite Everything, Our Expedition Trilogy

This poetic tale tells the story of the progress a polyamorous, sapphic couple make on a canoe excursion and the uncomfortable truths they come to terms with during the course of their trip.

The story explores transition, both in the relationship of the narrator, and in the other relationship that lurks in the shadows. Both are stuck in dysfunctional stasis and one must come to an end.

Around them, the natural environment subtly changes, adding depth to the feeling of urgency and threat.
