What if the Romanovs were never assassinated? What if they never abdicated the throne? What if they were loved? What if Rasputin was never killed?

Asta Darling Jane Fawcett was a 9 year old girl from the British countryside. It was 1914, the year the First World War had started, it was only September and many men, women and children had lost their lives already. The countryside was safe, but one day some German bombers flew over where she lived and had blown up a lot of farm land. Her parents were safe though, but they had decided it wasn't safe for her. They knew of a country that was a bit safer than England, this country was Russia. She had an Aunt living in Saint Petersburg, so she was sent there.

What they didn't know is that her aunt would abandon her and she would be made a Romanov instead.

A curse, a curse with no rules, or at least rules that always changed. No matter how hard the two teens tried, there seemed to be no loopholes. We won't start at the beginning, that won't make sense, at least not this time. Spyder and Octavia were doomed to be this way, living life after life trying to find one another but every time they remembered who they were, they would die... or at least one of them would, leaving the other two options, to continue until their next life cycle or to end it and try again. Of course it is never that simple. Especially when someone keeps changing the rules. The only stable thing they knew, was that they will always remember before they die, whoever had died first the previous life, would be the first to remember. and they would always find each other. No matter how long it took.
