It was loud. The only thing that could be heard in fact. A massive pillar of light had broken through the ground, and was shattering the land. People could only watch as their impending doom advanced, stopping for nothing as even mountains were torn up by the beam. It was then that they appeared. Duel monster spirits, drawn out by humanity's wishes, tenacity and sorrow, rose from the spirit world. The mightiest among them guarded humanity, their immense power deflecting the calamity. In the aftermath the land was left upheaved, everything had been destroyed and sunk under water. No cities remained and only the areas which the spirits had defended were left. Pooling their power, the spirits dragged the locations to one another creating one continent surrounded by the ocean. Initially they mingled and coexisted, building cities and infrastructure for the humans that had called out to them. But it was soon apparent that the spirits were inevitably meant to be divided from each other. Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Link were not intended to commingle and eventually they would destroy each other. So, the strongest of each division, that is to say the de facto leaders of each division came to an agreement. They were to keep away from each other and form their own countries, strictly enforce their borders and protect the humans which they would take with them. The event which brought the spirits to the world came to be known as Second Zero Reverse. That is how this world came to be. This is a story that uses elements and characters from the Yu-gi-oh franchise but does not contain any dueling. This story's fights are more traditional battles. This story follows Bruno, an orphan from the synchro region. One day he suddenly finds himself running away in a different region, and meets a mysterious spirit who starts him on his journey.

Long ago, in the ancient world of Amor Ki-un, there were five kingdoms of people. Not the regular human you'd think of. Magical people who protect their element. Earth people help nature thrive and people and nature co-exist. Wind people live on moors of grassy plains who focus on battle with strong wind. They have an alliance with the Fire people, to nurture their flames with their oxygen. Fire people can summon a flame and some can even hold this flame in their hands. They control fire and have grown immune to fire and lava. Water people manipulate water. They can only take water from already-existing sources. They have an alliance with the Earth people to help eachother. Lastly, the Mages. These have no specific element and are chosen to master all four elements. They are protectors of the elements and ignore wars between other kingdoms. In a recent turn of events, an evil Mage by the name of Alan Allitwi, has taken his 'experiments' and attacked all four kingdoms. He let those who escaped by means of water, for the elemental people were isolated on one island, and the others he destroyed. His creatures were called the 'Demonic Creatures', or just DCs. Then, one Mage, Queen Lilibeth, overruled Alan in his attempt for power. She sacrificed everything to save people. That was 400 years ago. Today, we all live happily- with no elements. They were wiped away when Queen Lilibeth took away the Mage's ablilties, but in sacrifice, gave up magic- for good. And a young man named Axel discovers something in his old history books- a page no student or teacher had ever touched before. "This could bring back magic! For all of Amor!" When the evil, immortal (unless murdred), Alan Allitwi, discovers this, he reaches for the something himself. Could Axel and his friends . . . stop Alan before he gains his magic back and save all of Amor Ki-un? A while after, Robin's precious rescue had been taken. She tries to get back to Robin. Who might she leave behind?
