"I'm a dead person walking. Why should I be scared?" I said as I walked on the edge of the bridge. "I was dead a long time ago."

"Please, don't kill yourself." He said trying to make sure that I be careful.

"I won't." She looked at him and paused. "You're the only reason why I don't want to."

He was quiet for a few seconds. He looked at her and she looked back at him. He seemed to question her answer. 

She looked at him straight in the eyes more intently and broke the silence.
