Rhiannon Thomson had always had a crush on her year+ older best friend Lorin Edmondson. That is, until he suddenly pushes her away when he gets to middle school, and then later goes to boarding school.
After years of living without her former friend and finally finding a place where she belongs, he suddenly returns, and with that, old feelings arise, but this time it's him who's falling.
Together they reconcile the missing pieces of a childhood friendship, get up to some slightly-illegal antics, and figure out what it means to conspire against fate.
