This book is a final conscious attempt to letting the little Activist in me live one more time. In a Country ridden not just with vast cultures but religion and conservative religious practices, the rebels (the ones who want to see the world squarely instead of from a woven cocoon) have no platform.
Worse are the rebels who love family so much and have succumbed to living an unhappy life for the sake of societal and family acceptance.
This book is my story, the story I could not tell the ones I loved, the story I fought so hard to tell so differently in different scenarios.
It is an expose, a book that tells the story of a young Nigerian girl who questioned everything questionable.
If we were all dumb, would the pen speak for us?
