Aris Argentum is a clever, streetwise, stubborn fifteen year old girl who just wants to be better than everyone. Her main goal is to live as normal a life as she can with luck like hers. But that won't happen as a secret order is on the rise; a new era, a new civilization, a new code, and they want her.

The question is, who? Will it be the aristocrat or the criminal? Or will something entirely different sweep her away before she has the chance?
