At first I thought I'd pick something a bit out of my comfort zone (so.... NOT SciFi for once...) to expand my horizon, but when I saw a prompt about time travel I was immediately inspired. Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) The Isolates were kicked out to roam the mountains of trash. The Importants and Unimportants live together, but the Importants have better roles in the Refuge. After the Crisis, more threats emerged. Scientists had engineered a biological robotic creatures to help eat trash. Consequently, the creatures evolved and began to eat the flesh of animals, including humans. All in all, when 17 year old Ash gets swept out in a flash flood, he learned the secrets of the past, why the creatures eat flesh, and why the Isolates are sent out among the trash. Finally, Ash manages to get back to the Refuge. He tries to convince people to believe what he saw, but will they believe him? Or will he get sent out to the mountains of trash again as an Isolate?Complete

Then one day he found electricity again. He used it for bad and soon conquered the whole world. Years later our world now runs on electricity again. The Monroe militia is still in power and they force teens to go into an academy to train as merciless killers. This is where I go.
