After Eve watches Villanelle die in front of her, she sees her only life purpose in avenging her lover's death by hunting down the Twelve, agents from MI6 and other organisations. She digs for information and gets closer to the core of the secret services without even realizing it.
Little does she know, that Villanelle, in fact, did not die, but staged her death to protect Eve while she works on a different, highly dangerous job. She tries to leave her out of it as best as she can, yet Eve manages to drag herself into it on her own.
