Project Decipher is a Gravity Falls fanfiction (kinda) following a team of five benevolent demons who try to research Bill and eventually make him redeem himself.
Basically a good demon team wanting to send a dorito into a redemption arc! Oops?
⚠This is a WIP. This fic may contain some stuff that don't make sense. I am not too educated enough on GF lore even though I finished the show. For criticism, drop in the comments. I will only accept kind/constructive ones. + Note that this fic focuses on and contains original characters. However, I'll try my best to include those from the original show, including the Pines family.⚠
Before you ask, no this does not contain any B*lld*p at all. If you are here for it, probably back off I guess lol

The Alternate Ending
What if Weirdmaggedon ended differently? We learn more about Bill Cipher's past and why he hides it from everyone, including himself. And after running from his past life for so long, it finally catches up to him. What will he do? Try to keep running away or finally accept it? ~Basically just an alternate ending to Gravity Falls with a weird continuation. This story will have a couple of my own characters, Midnight Moon and Samuel Coal. Also the characters to Gravity Falls will most likely be a bit ooc. Not gonna lie. Also there'll be billdip later in the story, no lemon/smut. But that won't be until very much later in the story. And to be frank, I'm really just writing this for my own amusement and kind of a way for me to practice my writing skills, but I'm still happy that others may enjoy this story. This is lowkey so weird I'm sorry- I don't suggest reading this if you haven't read at least "wonderland" and "//freak//" or "What If Gravity Fell?", which are some of the fics this crossover will include. Though even the young brunette's family isn't that concern about the whole situation, so that must mean this isn't such a big deal...right? One night Dipper Pines makes a deal with a horrible demon to keep everyone safe and from then on his life turns upside down. . Disclaimer!! Not long ago, an evil dream demon, of the name Bill Cipher, attempted to rule all of reality and existence. A first attempt to stop him was with the Cipher wheel, but it failed. The only people left to stop him were the Pines family. But the Pines never gave up, and even with Gravity Falls at his fingertips, Bill was tricked and was erased from existence for good. But what these heroes told the people of Gravity Falls was a lie. This is the story of what REALLY happened. This is a parody of "Bride of Discord" (great story, 10/10), and it's pretty much the same thing but with some changes and different characters. The story is going to be SUPER similar, so if you don't want to read it, then don't. (I'm not quite good at writing funny stuff, but I'm good at writing things full of feels and cute couple moments, and this is a warning, I guess, I'm not sure) *** Back to Gravity Falls, now with fourteen years old, after that horrible incident with well, I guess everybody knows about it, but in case you are wondering, the horrible awkward incident where Bill tried to take over the world and turn it into a big freak party, which is obviously, not weird at all. Since Stan and Ford are back from their adventure, the twins are finally back to the weirdest town in the world. Of course, it wouldn't be Gravity Falls if there wasn't a portal opening, a portal that had already opened in other places in the world, and that was now, in Gravity Falls. As if it wasn't enough, an old enemy of the Pines family might be back, way worse and way more terrifying.Complete

Maybe that's why he wakes up in the dirt outside the Mystery Shack three years after his failed Weirdmageddon, trapped in a powerless human body he'd rather explode than inhabit, stuck in a town he hates with all his squishy human heart. Summer in Gravity Falls is never normal; with a former chaos god thrown into the pot, things are gonna get weird. That weirdness could prove fatal if he refuses to face what he's spent a trillion years repressing. Bill's fate lies in the Pines family's hands (and though none of them know it just yet, the Pines family's fates lie in Bill's).
