Freshman and ready for a fresh start in high school, things take a turn for the worst. The three girls, Sam, Riley, and Emily, have been friends since they could walk. Although Sam and Riley were country tomboys at its finest, city-girl Emily found a liking to the girls and the three of them were practically inseparable. 

Over the weekend before school started, the girls continued with their normal routine. They would tell their parents they were going to the movies together and run off to their secret hide-out, an abandoned house in the middle of no where, and hang out.
