"You think our school is going to lose against your school?" Tulip asked, laughing over the microphone. I wasn't surprised that the spirit leader of the Eagles' football team was laughing at me, a dedicated Panther.

"How could you think that was even possible?" Tulip questioned as she regained her breath. 

I didn't even hesitate to pull my microphone closer to my lips. "Maybe if your quarterback wasn't too busy buying condoms at the local Happy Market, and actually practiced once in a while, then maybe you guys could have a chance of beating your biggest rival in the most important game of the season."

And just like that, I signed my own death certificate.
