Ever sneezed and felt like your soul was just about to leave your body? Well, Marcus never imagined such an absurd thing could happen to him either, because it literally did.

One minute he was at a house party, the next he found himself sneezing so bad, he could swear he felt his soul leave his body.

Or did it? 

All Marcus Velasco knew was that he found himself in a weird reality with the last person he expected to see at the moment.

What was more, there was a twenty-four-hour timer embedded at the back of his wrist with a quest to find his way back home within that span of time.

It was either that, or his heart would stop if he didn't meet the requirements before the time was up.

He was faced with two choices, and whichever one he made would cost him the other.

Would Marcus make it back in time? Or risk losing his soul forever in a dream fatale.

That in the first place, was if Marcus could realize what home truly meant before it was too late.

Up until the end of his middle school, he was considered by others an average student with plenty opportunities to work for. When one day during summer break he wandered through the town outskirts to somehow find an abandoned burial tomb with a strange artifact. Knowing of potential dangers yet still filled with curiosity, he had explored the area to discover more and upon closer examination a gem on a pedestal, he had surges of pain with many visions of the potential powers gained while having the gem infused within him before losing consciousness. Upon waking sometime later, he was regaining memories of the recent occurred events and found himself to test his powers. Lifting and making a nearby feather float from the ground with such supernatural capabilities made Marcus very aware of his strength and his inability to no longer to live a "normal" life. In fact, it can be considered that he was given a chance to have an easier life with what he can do with his powers. Then again, nothing is ever free in this world...
