James tries to talk to Regulus when they return to Hogwarts, hoping to become closer to him. He knows he should not approach Regulus. He knows Regulus is his best friend's younger brother. He knows Sirius would be furious. But he also knows that the curiosity of the forbidden and the allure of secrets make him feel alive. Once actions are taken, they cannot be undone. NOTE: The story is a bit based in All The Young Dudes by MsKingBean89- That can be found in Ao3. Like the first part of the letters, and some context of the story. But everything else is all my work.
