Paradise Among Metal

In both Mara Tussen and Lucy's world, there are three cities: Metal City, the Perimeter, and Paradise City. No matter what, Paradise is the place to be. It's colorful, warm, and...Paradise.

But in Mara's world, all she knows is the cold and colorless city of Metal. She doesn't remember why or how she got to Metal, but she knew she had to seek Paradise, or be stuck in Metal forever.

In Lucy's world, all she knows is the Perimeter's hospital. A dull, semi-colored place where she and other children go through "treatments", even though nobody gets sick in their world. Lucy could remember Paradise, and she knew she had to escape the awful hospital and get there, or else bad things would happen.

All they know is that Paradise will save them.

But what they don't know is the buried secrets of their pasts that lay not in Paradise, but in the surrounding areas of Metal and the Perimeter, and that perhaps knowing these secrets isn't the best thing....

Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
