Ian doesn't know it yet, but he is the strongest of the Last. He will soon be the tipping point of winning this war, of brutality ending it. He decides the fate of human kind. But he doesn't even know this is happening. He thinks the Program is the enemy.

Chloe Amor is one of the last hundred humans left alive on Earth, the last of the sixteen year olds chosen to save their planet. But at least she knows it.

Rachel Blade is one of the few survivors of Camp One, the first camp. She, Kai and John barely escaped with their lives. That was nine years ago, and she thought John was dead. That she had finally outrun her past. She thought wrong.

But the fact is, that the Program is dying. Their last lifeline. The human race's last lifeline. And that they're alone, with no help coming. They are the last hope for man kind. And they are being hunted.
