Rise of the Monkey King

Long before the age of quirks, there lies a world full of Gods and demons.

In the ancient land of China, a realm filled with myths and legends, gods and demons roamed freely, shaping the destiny of both mortals and immortals alike. Among them, there was one who stood above all others, the mighty Monkey King himself, Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong, also known as the legendary mischievous Monkey King, who singlehandedly declared war on heaven itself. possessed incredible powers that surpassed even the mightiest gods.

He was originally just an ordinary monkey until he gained great power and intelligence after acquiring the ability to transform into seventy-two different shapes and learn powerful magical spells. Seemingly unbeatable, he even defeated all the demons that had been plaguing his home, the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit

his arrogance and desire for even more power led him to many mischief, from erasing his and his monkey subject's name from the book of the dead, to stealing and eating the the Jade Emperor's coveted peaches of immortality and drinking the elixir of life, to finally challenging the Jade Emperor, the ruler of heaven for his throne and declaring himself, 'the great sage equal to heaven' creating chaos within the world and heaven itself.

eventually, the jade emperor got enough of the monkey king's actions and ordered the powerful Buddha to bring Sun Wukong under control

Until, Sun Wukong finally meets his match in Buddha. In a battle to prove his superiority, but Buddha traps him underneath a mountain, known as the Five Fingers Mountain, which he remains imprisoned for ten thousand years

But is this really the end for sun Wukong? Or is it just the beginning of his story? Only one way to find out
