What is magic? If magic was real, how would it look like? I researched and came up with a way to explore magic as if it was real.
I thought of why normal people would never be able to see magic and I came up with a system that works off Darwinian evolution. In this world, magic had always existed, but when humans came to be and civilized, they had a magic world war. The aftermath of the war lead to great loss, many lost their history and many lost lives. After the war, humans started to live in peace and slowly lost their skill or knowledge of magic by the laws of Darwinian evolution. This lead to another magic world war, but the out come of this war was less tragic. The second magic world war lead to the split world of Normies, humans who can't use magic, and Arcanes, humans who can use magic.
How does magic work in this world? In this world, there are three major types of magic, Forming, Invoking, and Maneuvering. Each of these magic types also have their own subtypes which will be explored in the story. Forming is the magic of making magic, imbuing magic into object and relics such as a magic sword, a golem, or potions. Invoking is the magic of talking, making a statement and having it come true, or a binding promise. Maneuvering is the magic of movement, this magic is from the movement of a wand, hand or even the whole body.
This story is inspired by various things such as "Harry Potter, By J.K. Rowling", "Star Wars, By George Lucas", "Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor, By Taro Hitsuji", some of my own ideas, and some other works. I wish I could name them all, but this is my little twist on magic, I hope you all enjoy.

Humans, Fairies, Giants, Demons, Goddess, These races were very known in the country of Britannia. Each race having their own clans, leaders and territory. Children of Adaygue Book 1: Mad World
Book One. It's a strange, even mad world indeed. A world where magic once long ago filled the air, and was felt within everything, until humanity explored it's potential for power, destruction, and war. And with it came the true nature of it: Chaos, the source of magic. It nearly ripped apart creation, and thus, some legendary hero took sealed it away to protect the creation from destruction- Adaygue, Great Mother to everyone. She became the deity to protect magic, and her followers called herself "Children of Adaygue". 3135 years later, after countless of wars, magic flickers and loses its meaning. But the people "blessed by Adaygue" face segregation, racism, and exploitation from the countries they live in. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
I'm Sorry (FairyTail)
Long ago 555 years ago a great disaster stroke Earthland. Nearly all life was destroyed those years ago between the battle of good and evil. This war broke out with dark, evil and unknown creatures that could turn other races dark and evil along with them. Low level and class creatures were killed by normal weapons but Class C and higher were only killed by ten great weapons made so long ago. Those weapons were the Fairies Gifts. Long ago 561 years ago a young Fairy along with the Queen of Fairies and the Queen of Dragons came up with the idea of making the Fairies Gifts, great weapons that could pure and heal the turned people and kill the high class creatures. These weapons were made in a long six year battle with the weapons with the same welders who all joined together in the Fairy Gift team as the weapons had their own thoughts, voices and lifes. The weapons were picky and would chose their welders as they ended up picking all Fairies as their original welders. One second they was winning the war with evil until that great disaster. After 555 years some parts of races like elves, demons, angels, nekos, humans, dragons were able to live the one race that truly got wiped out in that event was the Fairies themselves. Small parts of these races lived. 555 years and six cities were made with powerful magic shields, fighters and mages to protect them. No one really knew what happened so many years ago but with what parts of history everyone knew they blamed Fairies for letting or even helping evil win but what happened when the new welders find a crystal with a person trapped in it? What if that person had the missing Tenth weapon? What if this person was the last of her kind.....The last Fairy. For as long as anyone could remember humans and monsters have been at war, the conflict spanning over millennia till the Great War, witch nearly sent both races into extinction. At the end of this war a pact was made, a agreement to pease and prosperity for all. Though their were some how despised this agreement, a group of humans that called themselves the Liberators, gods chosen to wipe monster kind off of this world. And so their they began to kidnap and murder monsters where they lived, and no human lifted a finger to stop them. That was until one day when a small community of elves was attacked, and on live television to the world, they watched as they slaughtered a married couple unlike many had seen. That of a human and a elf. This seemed to have awoken the world to the horrors that this group has caused and a international force was established to protect all races from harm. Now with the Liberators pushed back into the shadows, pease was finally accomplished for the masses, and a tournament was set up in honor of that day. A tournament that lead to new businesses popping up, that of the blacksmiths.Concluida
Cassiopea's School for the Gifted
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
