A historical fiction piece based around 9/11, asking the question "What if there was a survivor of Flight 93?"
This story follows half-siblings Na'im and Verity when they meet Riven, who wound up with severe injuries he doesn't remember getting. As the weeks turn into months, Riven remembers nothing of how he got those injuries- until he sees a news story about a plane crash in Stonycreek, Pennsylvania.
Seeing the crash site on the news jogs something deep within his brain, and memories of the day begin to come back. With the help of Verity and Na'im, Riven begins to put together the pieces of the situation he wound up in. Even then, he still has questions.
Why was he on the plane? Where was he going? Why was he leaving? Was he going to someone, or was he running away?
