In a world wheat monsters dwell, knights fight those monsters that shower their power over those who are in worry the day the will die is the time. A kingdom called altea thrives. And an enchanted forest that surrounds the kingdom. Zarkons garden, is what they call it. The place only men go in to die or come out as a Legend. But. The 4Th prince lance Farla McClain. And the 1st princes Allura Farla McClain live. But inside of the forest that holds the mighty beast that will one day become engaged to one of them.

Also I did the background in the cover but the photo of lance was founded on google and the arrest name is on there so go and check them out!

The Dark Crystal
In a world, a long, long time ago, lived a crystal. The lands flourished and bloomed until the crystal cracked, the shard lost to time. There came two races with the crystal cracked, the Skeksis and the Mystics. With both races dying, only one could save them. His name was Keith, the last known living Gelfling. He was the chosen one. And he has no clue. NOTE: This takes place in the Dark Crystal universe but still has my own twists to it. I'm basing this story solely off the movie and my own imagination. A few tidbits of knowledge that would make this story make a lil more since are: -This one-shot is only based off the movie, not the comics nor the upcoming (as of 2019) show. -All of the species named here (Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics, Podlings) are all more humanoid than what is canon in the Dark Crystal movie but you can still image them as you wish. -The Skeksis are the Galra. (The Mystics AREN'T the Alteans though.) Image the Skeksis as more Galra-like or more Skeksis-like, do what fits your imagination. While Keith is a Rogue Galra running from his own kind. When the two meet and Allura sees that Keith can help them destroy Zarkon she ask Keith to join them in fighting and be a paladin for the red lion he agrees. Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. But, the new guard turns out to be... odd. Not quite Altean, not quite Galran. Compared to Lance and the rest of the empire, one could say Keith has many strange differences. *** "So..." Allura continued, clearing her throat. Her neck likely aced from looking up for so long. "I know you're not going to like this news, but... It's for the kingdom's best... It's for your best. If something ever happens to me-" "Yeah, yeah. I'll have to step up as king." Lance mumbled. He just wanted to be done with this conversation. Whatever bad news Allura was about to tell him, he didn't even care. His life sucked. How could she possibly make it suck any more? "I've hired a bodyguard." Lance nearly tipped off the wall. (Story no one asked for) Keith Kogane is a homless boy who steals to survive. His friends Shiro, Hunk, and Matt all there too. Keith will do anything to get off the streets and hope and wish to become a Prince so he doesn't have to be treated so awfully. Always dodging guards isn't so fun. Lance is the Prince of the kingdom. He would do anything to give up his crown and see the outside world for adventure and Love. Only problem is that his Mother, Queen Allura, wants him to get married and always perfer to stick with the ancient ways of Altea. we must be careful with any evil that lurks around. The story of how a boy finds a magic lamp and finally gets Love. Lol, first Klance! Hope you all enjoy! Keith has been haunted since he fought with the Druid. His hand... It just healed... That wasn't a normal thing. Then Zarkon... The emperor told Keith he fought similar to his Galran soldiers. That had honestly scared him. So when the paladins are reunited after being spread throughout space, he tries to hide his insecurities and fears and pain. However, he can't hide it for long. Keith is kidnapped by Lotor, the only child of King Zarkon. In return for Keith he wants Lance to himself. The request isn't as easy as it seems but with Keith still in Lotor's hands the threat of war is stronger than ever. Will Lance be able to save Keith while making sure he's safe as well? Lance had secrets that he had never told anyone. Other then Hunk, but not even he knew everything. He wanted despratly to hide these secrets. But all secrets would come out, even when someone tries to hide it. This was something that Lance soon would realize. As Allura decided to make an exercise which showed their fears. Keith and Shiro are Galra (they grew up on Altea) Keith has his parents, while Lance is an adopted orphan. There is a type of Galra called Crypts they are genderless Altea still exists I don't own the characters, they are from Voltron Legendary Defender, by Dreamworks (I didn't make the cover) This one is set on Earth as Keith crash landed there trying to find the blue, green and yellow paladins.
