I am literally in love with Jel from Palia, the newest cozy MMO. I haven't seen ANY FanFics for ANY Palia characters, so I'm here now proclaiming my love for these characters in one of the only ways I know how, so I hope y'all love this as much as I do.
So to give context, the reader may be Human or Majiri, up to you to decide. The reader and Jel have known each other for some time at this point in the story, so they know each other pretty well!

So, I've been doing hours of MINDLESS research on the game, and I thought it took place in the past but, after reading TONS of Reddit posts and head cannons and them figuring it out, I guess it takes place 1000s of years into the future, which I would've never guessed that by the art style and theme of the way everyone is dressed and building styles which is why I initially thought it took place in the past, but as I get further into the game it makes so much more sense with the technology advancements.
