Evergreen Rose died when she was just seventeen years old.

It was not a kind death, for, due to circumstance, the world had never been forgiving to the young witch. Her death was cruel. Bloody. Painful. Her last breaths of air she struggled for and as she died she thought of nothing but her brother, whom she was leaving behind in the world full of monsters.

At least, that's what she thought was going to happen. Instead, she wakes up, the world encompassed in a hazy blue - as a ghost - unfeeling, and cold.

She wakes as ghost that breaks the very laws nature set for itself. A ghost that procures jealousy from a great many witches due to her vast, unexplored power, power that the Original Witch soon steals for her own gain. A ghost, with the ability to walk through the veil.

An immortal witch.

Though everything is still cold. Her body echoes her undead soul, and every thing has lost life. Colours are dull. Foods taste bland. Emotions are numb. The Other Side leaks into the real world, like blood from a gaping wound, and ghosts are hidden in every corner. Her soul is almost torn apart with the magic that struggles to keep her alive, and death, sooner than she realises, begins hunting her again.

Not even she will predict that the lost sheep from a broken family will be the one thing to make her feel most alive.
