For 23 years I have been beaten, I have been starved, and I have been disrespected by every member of my pack. I would give anything to have my mother back, the one I remember from before Shadowfalls. But I am losing all hope. Valkyrie and her mother came to Shadowfalls Island when Valkyrie was young, her mother discovered her second chance mate with the Beta of Shadow falls, James Alden. Celeste, Valkyries mother, refused to name Valkyrie's father. Only stating that he had passed on. For the entirety of her life Celeste kept the secret that Valkyries father had been none other than the wolf god Fenrir, the only claim she gave him in the last name she gave her daughter...Ulfsdottir (Wolf's daughter). After claiming Celeste, James named Valkyrie as bastard to the pack, unwanted. Omega. Thus began her trial, at the brink of her ascension is when Lucas will be tested. Is he worthy of such a strong resilient mate, or does he turn away from her in her moment of need. To be worthy of their powers and heritage both Valkyrie and Lukas need to discover what is most important to them. Power, wealth and privilege or family, love and honor.

This will be book one of Shadowfalls, where all manner of supernatural creatures creep and crawl, and come together in a quaint little town on a magically hidden island 150 miles East of Salem MA.
