This story takes place during the time of the Old Republic. It is an AU featuring many characters from Star Wars: The Old Republic game.

Elrickew Reez is the feared Alliance Commander. He is ruthless and powerful. Formally, the Emperor's Hand, he is a powerful Sith Lord, who will go to great lengths to get what he wants. He defeated the Eternal Empire alongside his second in command, Matrin Urris. Matrin is a powerful Jedi Knight who is kind-hearted and sweet. Everyone who meets her gets immediately disarmed by her wise and quiet disposition. They are unlikely allies, but they work remarkably well together.

What happens when Matrin's former padawan, Kira Carsen, and the other former Emporer's Hand Lord Scourge show up claiming knowledge of a new evil? One that has been lurking for decades and is about to be free.

Will they all get along? Two Sith lords and two Jed? Will Lord Scorge finally tell Matrin his true feelings in regard to her? Will Kira finally come to terms with Elrickew, or will she hate him forever?
