But Artemis isn't the only one who wants the magical orb with life-restoring powers. Rival pirates, a secret society, headhunters, changelings, and a dark, heavy-rock-loving, head-banging, guitar-wielding necromancer who knows more about her than she knows about him are all after her and the orb, and some will end up taking something from her that she needs.
