I Called You Mine

Riley and Blake are two eighth grade girls living in the Atlanta suburbs. They have known each other since elementary school and have always been best friends. When Blake comes out, Riley is confronted with her own feelings towards Blake, and decides to act on them.

They both feel that the other cannot love them as more than a friend because of their own insecurities. Together, the two of them take on the challenges of their last year of middle school, their pasts, and their first relationship. However, they learn that love is not the magic cure all they've been told it is.
