Irrefutable

Maggie Mae is an eccentric lover of all things fashion and possibilities. With the endless daydreaming occurring within her mind she has the ability to create beautiful false realities around her. An issue, which for most of her life, caused her to be alone and waiting for some magical true love.

Until, eventually she was done waiting. She settled and not for someone bad , someone good by anyone's normal standards. She accepted that their love was pure and the best it would get. She accepted their life together with a promise and a big diamond ring.

Of course love finds the time you are least expecting and binds you so tightly, removing all the air from your body until you are completely dependent on the one it binds you to. Maggie only wishes the one it bound her to was her fiance.

"This love I am bound to for you is irrefutable. I couldn't fight it no matter how hard I tried. I could only let it consume me. I don't wanna fight it anymore, I don't wanna fight you anymore." I sob as I grasp his beautiful face.

His hand pulls away one of mine and I cry harder at his rejection before slowly realizing his intention. He rips my engagement ring from my finger tossing it to the wet concrete. I watch as his eyes take in my heartbroken state peering up at him.

"You never stood a chance. You were always gonna be mine." He declares in almost a growl before wrapping one arm around my waist and lifting me up so my face reaches his. He claims my lips in the middle of the bustling streets of New York. With the rain pouring down around us and my wedding dress still adorning my body.
