Sia Poppins lives her days as one of the most mature 17 year olds of her town. Her maturity came from taking care of her sick mother who has the disease of dementia, allowing her mother to forget things very easily.
Without the help of her father, who left Sia and her mother for another women when he couldn't handle his wife's disease, Sia takes care of her mother herself, but when Sia takes a step onto her school yard she becomes a whole new person.
The mature women that she is at home disappears and she becomes the school's fashionista and bully. Even though her inside thoughts are pure and innocent, her actions and words say a different thing.
